Claire's shining moment was when Kristin Chenoweth personally presented her with the 2019 Veronica Bocelli Distinguished Artist Award (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0DDTtyoGEI). Veronica Bocelli is dedicated to the arts in many ways in addition to being married to world-renowned tenor, Andrea Bocelli.

Claire’s journey started at age 12 when she was the only youth and lead role in the Oklahoma State University opera production of Amahl and the Night Visitors. Since then, she has been cast as the lead role in nine local theatrical productions. Claire was cast as Martha Cratchit in her first professional production with Oklahoma City’s Lyric Theatre in A Christmas Carol.

She frequently performs the National Anthem for:

  • Oklahoma City Thunder (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5eeYjxGYdQ&t=3s)
  • International Finals Rodeo
  • Tulsa Drillers
  • Oklahoma State University Veterans events

She was a finalist in Voice of the Heartland competition and has performed at holiday tree lighting ceremonies in both Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Claire also performed internationally in San Pedro, Belize.

Claire found a way to use music as a teaching tool by incorporating a song in her presentations with Show Compassion Foundation, which garnered her the 2018 National Youth Activist Award in the Inspiring Arts category.
